Interclub Overview

Division Interclub Competitions

Interclub competitions are open to all PSA-member clubs. Competitions require registration or re-registration for each competition season. The following divisions have an interclub competition: PID Color, PID Monochrome, Photojournalism, Nature, Photo Travel, 3D and Print.

General Entry Details for all Interclub Competitions

 

This digital competition is open to PSA member clubs. Following each competition, the club standings are sent to participating clubs and the winning images are shown on the PSA website.

2023-24 General Interclub Guidelines: pdf

Clubs may join at any time during the competition season but after October 15 Registration, some Division Competitions may be closed due to the limit of 25 clubs per group. A club must register by September 15 to participate in round one. Digital Certificates available to makers of all Merit and HM images For End of the year competition, Division Medals will be sent to End of Year Gold Medal winners using the primary Club’s mailing address on record in the Interclub software.

This competition is held three (3) times each competition year, beginning in the fall. Deadline for competitions are November 15, February 15, and April 15. Any club that is a PSA member may choose to compete as a club, with awards going to individuals, and to the top three clubs with the highest accumulated points for the year.

The release document gives permission for PSA to use the images:

To participate in a Division Interclub competition all participating club members must have a signed release file uploaded to the Interclub portal. The release document is for the member and not the specific image and is good for three (3) years. The Release file is good for all Division Interclub Competitions.

PERMISSION FOR PSA TO USE
“I hereby give permission for the Photographic Society of America (PSA) to display any of my images submitted through my camera club for use in PSA interclub competitions. I certify that I am the copyright holder of the images. I hereby agree that this work is my original work created solely by me and does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, oral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or party.

I hereby give permission for the Photographic Society of America to display such images on the PSA's own website.

I retain copyright of the image(s) and these images may not be used by PSA for any purpose other than stated above without my additional explicit written permission. The PSA will not directly or indirectly post these images on any other web sites such as social media sites without such written consent.”

PICTORIAL PRINT GUIDELINES

Five categories: Large & Small Color, Large & Small Mono, and Creative. 4 prints by 4 members. You can make a partial entry if you don't have four prints in a category. If club was not able to submit prints in a competition, can enter them the next time as long as they are marked "make up."
