I am a retired Ph.D organic chemist, a retired Registered US Patent Agent, a 12-handicap golfer, and happily married for almost 40 years.

I've been using a digital camera since they became available and have been doing Club photography since 2005. I enjoy photographic competitions, workshops and classes, photo trips, and attending conferences.

I photograph pretty much anything that comes my way -- from wide angle landscapes, to macro abstracts, to infra-red B&W, I do some lecturing and some judging. And I love playing in the digital darkroom. I sometimes spend 30 hrs a week on this "hobby", so hopefully have developed some skills.
