William Still, EPSA

William has always enjoyed photography from the standpoint of a consumer. Photography’s vast realm of technical complexities was not something he considered when viewing a photograph. If he liked the photograph, he liked it. His experience as a photographer was limited to capturing places and moments in the lives of his family and friends. He is a self-taught, hands-on type of person. He has learned more by observing, studying and doing. His photography is a result of these traits. Like most photographers, photography represents his vision and understanding of the world around him. He considers himself a landscape photographer with the eye of a street photographer. Through his photography he tries to capture those moments, places and things encountered in a way that shows the wonder, power and the majestic beauty of a scene in a way that might inspire the viewer to want to experience the scene in person.
