Wasiri Gajaman, QPSA

Born in 1971, in Hambanthota, a city in southern Sri lanka, raised in city of Dikwella and got primary education in "Kumarathungu monidas maha vidyalaya", secondary education in "Nakulugamuwa maha vidyalaya" and advanced level education in "St. Thomas college" in Matara. Then got the higher education in "Faculty of Medicine, in Univercity of Ruhuna" in Galle, and studied clinical medicine and surgery.

After graduating with MBBS in 1999, worked as a Doctor in various hospitals and other health institutions in all over the country since 2000.

Has been a nature lover and a traveller since school days. Started photographing nature and wildlife since 2005 with  first camera Fuji finefix S5600 compact. That habit made him later a photographer.

Currently works as the Incharge medical officer in Ranna Divisional hospital. While very busy in his profession, spends most of his leisure time photographing, not only the nature and wildlife, but now all the aspects of photography. Started submitting photographs for international exibitions since last july. So far has won 47 international awards and over 700 acceptances.
