Steve became interested in photography in his childhood, learning monochrome camera and darkroom skills from his father. He went to sea as an engineer apprentice aged 17, carrying an Olympus trip and progressed from there. Now 50 years on and retired his interest has never waned. He moved easily into digital photography and joined PSA in 2009, when he also became admin for Creative Group 34 (then EID and now PID Digital Dialogue).
Steve has no specific genre in photography, but captures anything or anyone that may be interesting to use. He’s now using a Nikon D810 and Lightroom / Photoshop with lots of plugins and loving it! Steve earned his PPSA in 2017 and his EPSA in 2020.
