Razvan BALEANU


Razvan Baleanu was born in Campina, Romania in 1985. He graduated from the University of Cinematography in 2008 with a Master Degree in Media and Journalism in 2010. His love for photography began in childhood, when, at age 12, he took his first photograph. When he was 15, he began to really work on his photography, with its written and unwritten rules, participating at International Exhibitions of Photography with FIAP, PSA patronage.

Razvan started practicing the photographic art by developing and printing in black and white, in his own laboratory, and then subsequently, embracing the digital technique. In 2003 become member of Photographic Society of America (PSA) and Association of Photographic Artists in Romania (AAFR). In 2004 he gain the first PSA Star, and from then until now he has earned over 17 Stars in several PSA divisions.

In 2008 receive the title “Artist” A.FIAP from International Federation of Photographic Art. In 2010 receive the title “Excelence” E.AAFR from Association of Photographic Artists in Romania. In 2015 receive the title “Proficiency” PPSA from Photographic Society of America.

He has over 90 Awards, Medals, HM’s and over 600 photos accepted at PSA and FIAP recognized International Exhibitions of Photography. He has photographies exposed in over 30 countries and more than 30 important cities in Romania.

Razvan Baleanu works as technical director at a national Television Station from Romania.
