Elizabeth Passuello, EPSA, EFIAP, FPSNZ, FAPS·
Elizabeth became a member of PSA in 1997, having been involved in photography since 1986. She operates her own picture framing and photography business on the wild and rugged West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand, which is a great place for photography. A keen entrant in regional and national photography exhibitions since 1987, Elizabeth began entering the internationals in 1996 and has won numerous awards at all levels.
While she enjoys many aspects of photography, Elizabeth has a particular interest in nature, landscape, photojournalism, still life and anything creative. Living on the coast, the sea also features in many of her images.
Since 1987, Elizabeth has worked in various volunteer roles for several photographic organisations. She is a past president of the Greymouth Photography Club and over the years has also served in all other committee positions within the club. In 2018 she was made a Life Member in recognition of her service to the club over more than three decades. In 1995 she became an accredited judge of the Photographic Society of New Zealand and was awarded her Fellowship of the society in 1999.
She received an AFIAP distinction in 2001 and followed this with an EFIAP distinction in 2009. 2010 saw her awarded her second Fellowship, from the Nature Photography Society of New Zealand, and in 2019 she was awarded her third Fellowship by the Australian Photographic Society. Elizabeth also earned her QPSA, PPSA and EPSA in 2019.
