This list of volunteer opportunities is updated regularly. Members who are interested in one of the positions listed, should read about the program or activity on the webpage that is linked, read the Master Operating Manual (MOM) for the position if it is linked, and complete the Volunteer Application. The volunteer will be contacted as soon as possible.

  • EXHIBITION DATABASE ACCEPTANCE SHEET (EDAS) REVIEW COMMITTEE - Posted May 28, 2019

    Exhibition Database Acceptance Sheet (EDAS) Review Committee

    Exhibition Services is in need of volunteers to serve on the EDAS Review Committee.  Must have good communication skills and extensive experience using formulas and links in Excel spreadsheets.  Members of the EDAS Review Committee receive the international exhibitions’ acceptances spreadsheets (EDAS), examine them for accuracy and consistency before they can be added to PSA’s acceptances database.  Statistics, such as acceptance rates and judging scores, are recorded and posted on PSA’s website.  When EDASs are not completed correctly, the exhibition chair is notified and given an explanation of what needs to be done before the EDASs are acceptable.  Team members must have a good command of the English language to be able to communicate with people whose native language is not English.  Please email staff-whos-who-chairs@psa-photo.org for details.

  • NEW EXHIBITION STANDARDS DIRECTORS - posted May 2, 2019

  • DIRECTOR OF NATURE DIVISION INTERCLUB COMPETITION - posted April 23, 2019

    Volunteers should have command of the English language to be able to communicate results and answer possible questions about the competitions. The Director must be able to use Excel and Word for recording the results. (Scoring results will be recorded on an auto generated Excel compatible sheet.) Director will coordinate three competitions per year from a list of competing clubs, maintain results, and email winning images for later posting on the web.  The director of the nature competition should also have an understanding of the specific rules and guidelines used in that division (the definition of a nature image).  Please email Division Vice President, Bob Benson, APSA, PPSA, at divVP@psa-photo.org

    PSA TRAVEL ADVISORY SERVICE seeks volunteer Travel Aides for all areas of the world to provide information, on request, to prospective PSA member travelers on where to find optimal photographic opportunities within the geographical areas of their expertise.
