Well, this is a unique image alright but it has problems that keep it from being as good as you would like it to be.  First of all, it is in the incorrect color space.  It is in a movie color space, P3, instead of sRGB.  That is a very unusual color space for still images and if you enter the image in an exhibition, they might not see it as you see it on your computer.  The second problem is the exposure.  It is too dark.  The dark areas are blocked up with no detail, and it is so dark, there is no color except in the light areas.  It looks like a black and white image with a little color in the pelican’s bill and chest.  Also,I think the bird has an odd color bill.  On my computer it is pinkish-purple. Maybe that is caused by the exposure problem or maybe by the odd color space.

The bird’s head and bill are sharp so that is good.  The bathing action is a good but not strong nature story.  You are fairly low so the bird is nearly head on.  That improves the image pictorially. Good

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
The image of the pelican splashing is an interesting one. I am not sure if this is bath, landing or some other behavior. Over all, with out some explain the behavior I am at lose to understand this image.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
The exposure is good and the shutter speed is sufficient to mostly stop the water droplets. The DOF is lacking, the bird's eyes are sharp but the front bill and feather on the body are slightly soft.

Also the image is oversized. Instructions are 1040 pixels max on each side, not HD. The oversized image did not easy fit on my second monitor - I guess it is time for me to get a second monitor :)

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
The image is interesting to view. The bird merges with the splash, the water gives a strong sense of motion. The dark color of the water seems a bit out of place, I am surprised that there was not much more color in the water.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
You captured the moment of bird bathing nicely with water splash.
I am not sure about nature story without description but I think your goal has been achieved.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Decent sharpness and exposure on the main subject. Details of the bird, feather and bill, is well described.
I looks as if you transferred B&W once and attached 2 colors later, in my view. With the post processing, it seems that the image transformed from photo to art.

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Composition is ok placing main subject in the center with tight cropping. Pictorial beautiful picture.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
Hi Maitham. It's an interesting image, but I don't feel that the action is very unique for the nature category.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Looks like the image was desaturated to black and white except for the center of the photo. I don't feel that this fits the nature category and it would be better to be all color. Otherwise I think it is exposed to show movement in the bird properly.

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
I feel that the beak is the most interesting part of the image.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
Good nature depiction of Pelican landing, surrounded by bursting water droplets.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Your camera settings have allowed you to capture the precise moment of impact. Head and upper part of bill are sharp. Nice colour on bird, eye clear. Some areas of white feathers appear a little blown out.

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
The image certainly has impact with good composition.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
There is a story in the movement but it's not that strong.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
The image is sharp where necessary, the eyes. I would have liked a greater DOF and slightly faster shutter speed to freeze the movement. The colour balance is not right and the exposure too dark for me.

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
This is where the image stands out and I find it well composition and has impact. You could crop in from the right to balance the image and tone down the artefacts in the background.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
I know it's common behaviour, but this is spectacularly captured.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Fantastic technique, shutter speed just fast enough to get the face sharp and still the sense of motion within the feathers and water droplets. It's pin sharp where it needs to be and beautifully exposed.

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
The action and the direct eye contact make it a winner for me. This is the type of shot I strive to achieve, something special in a common species.

NATURE REVIEW OF THE IMAGE
Good nature story with bathing and splattering. Not sure if the background was artificially darkened beyond the natural shadowing, which would be outside of Nature Rules and would disqualify. But I will give the benefit of the doubt here.

TECHNICAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
nicely focused on eye and beak with the background darkened. Head is centered but in this case it seems appropriate

PICTORIAL REVIEW OF IMAGE
Black and white mostly with a bit of color on the beak makes a simple and interesting presentation
