Keith Weir Greggain, PPSA

My earliest memories of photography are as a child of 7 or 8 years old. My father showed me some glass slides taken by my grandfather, who had died before I was born. My father explained how glass slides were made and developed thus kindling my interest in photography. In later years, much to my delight, I was allowed to go to the local photographic club with him.

I was given my first camera, a Kodak, when I was 14, but to buy film and have it developed cost me almost a week of pocket money. As you can imagine, one film lasted me a long time!

Since then I have been a member of various camera clubs and at present am a member of Workington Camera Club, West Cumbria Photo Group, and of course, the PSA.
