The International Understanding Through Photography (IUTP) award annually recognizes an accomplished photographer whose images and their presentation have clearly contributed to the advancement of understanding among people. It honors living photographers whose work has had a unique impact on the world by focusing attention or changing perceptions. The recipient need not be a member of PSA.
