He became intersted in photography in 1970, using his father's Yashica 35 mm SLR, which was purchased in Japan. Greg enjoys travel and photographing different cultures in their environment. As a ship captain, he spent two years in Mexico, one year in Brazil and five years in West and East Africa. His favorite images are from Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and Equatorial Guinea.
Greg has over 500 images accepted in exhibitions in 48 different countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America and Australia. He has earned 10 international awards in these exhibitions.
In 2016, Greg earned his PPSA with 3 stars in Nature, PID Color, PID Mono, and Travel and two stars in PhotoJournalism. He subsequently earned his EPSA in 2016 as well. In the same year he became Vice President of the Lafayette Photographic Society, Vice President, Competition of the Gulf States Camera Council and Louisiana State Membership Director of PSA. He is also a business member of the Professional Photographers of Louisiana. He earned his MPSA in 2017.
