Due to a standardization of the Image of the Year Awards given by all Divisions Nature images/Prints and Wildlife images/Prints will be judged together in one group.
Awards will now consist of one 8x 10 Gold Medal Plaque with a medal, engraved plate and a reproduction of the winning image for Image of the Year. There will also be additional 4x6 Silver medal plaques given: one per every hundred entries or portion thereof. The Gold Medal will be awarded for the top image selected by our judges from the highest scoring images with approximately five silver medals awarded by our judges for other top scoring images. The Gold Medal winning image will be shown at the PSA Annual Conference during the showing of the PSA Nature Exhibition. Depending on the length of the show and time allowed, Silver medal winners may also be showed. All medal winners will be displayed on the PSA Nature Division web site, and the Gold medal winning image will be featured in an article in the PSA Journal. Again depending on space Silver Medals winners may also be featured. All Medal winners will have to sign a permission slip allowing reproduction for the Nature Exhibition Show, PSA Nature Website and PSA Journal.
All Medals will be presented to the winners, if present, at the Nature Division Luncheon/Meeting at the PSA Annual Conference. Awards will be mailed to those who cannot attend the Conference.
