Tang Chan Seng was born in Macao and started his photography in the late 70's. He is deputy managing director of PSM, Macao (The Photographic Society of Macao) and was appointed as exhibition chairman of the 18th Macao International Salon of Photography. He received the honor of Fellowship of the Photographic Society of Macao (FPSM).
Since Macao is the city of co-existing characteristics of Chinese and Western cultures, many unique and traditional festivals take place in this historical city every year. It provides me lots of various subjects to shoot and create award-winning photos. He believes entering international exhibitions is the best way to improve his shooting technique, and more than 90% of his photos are accepted in international exhibitions which are taken in his home city.
He was distinguished as an Excellence FIAP Gold (EFIAP/g) by the International Federation of Photographic Art in 2016. He was listed as a Top Ten Monochrome (Projected) exhibitor in 2013 and Top Ten Photojournalism (Projected) exhibitor in 2015 in PSA’s Who’s Who.
Chan-Seng received his PPSA in 2014, his EPSA in 2015 and his MPSA in 2016. He earned his GMPSA in 2018.
He has won more than 300 awards and has obtained over 1500 acceptances in PSA-recognized international photo contests.
