I live in Ireland and I am mainly a Landscape/Seascape Photographer but I am interested in all genres of Photography.I have over the last number of years travelled to and photographed in Iceland the UK, Europe and the USA.
When I joined the PSA on the 8th of January 2011 I must admit I didn't know much about entering international exhibitions. I feel Photography is a lot like life, you learn from your mistakes and I have found that one of the main benefits of being a member of the PSA and entering their exhibitions is that I now make less mistakes in my Photography than I used to.
The mentoring service that the PSA provide is excellent and I would encourage any member entering exhibitions to get their images evaluated first. Don't ever feel shy or embarrassed about submitting images to someone who knows what they are talking about and who will provide you with a confidential constructive critique.
Since joining the PSA not alone have I achieved my PPSA but I have also achieved AFIAP AIPF and ARPS Distinctions. I now print and sell my own prints and I run Photographic Workshops in Ireland. The PSA has given me the experience and confidence to achieve all of this.
