William Wight

Bill became interested in photography while in high school. He was influenced by the work of landscapes Ansel Adams and Galen Rowell. After giving up on a career as a professional photographer, Bill went on to have a career in product development and operations management.

Now retired and living in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Bill spends much of his time on photography--capturing images, post-processing, and writing. Bill's major interest in photography is landscape and street photography. Through his photographs exhibited on Flickr, many of his contacts kept asking if he ever gave photography lessons. This led Bill to teach landscape photography workshops for five years. He is active in two local camera clubs, where he is the VP of one and on the board of another.
