If someone cannot complete a term, the Board elects someone to fill the position based on the recommendations of the Nominating Committee. With the exception of the International Relationships Vice-President, Directors shall be elected for one (1) term of two (2) years and shall not be eligible to serve more than three (3) consecutive terms in the same office. All officers shall continue in office until their successors qualify. The President and Executive Vice-President may serve two (2), two–year terms for a total of four (4) years.

As such, the position oversees the chairpersons, committees, and interns that are responsible for gathering, archiving, and developing exhibitions of the Society's collections. At the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, the Society's collections are archived and used as educational aides in the curatorial and art history courses. In addition, the ICVP is responsible for chairs or directors of the TOPS in Photography programs. Digital Programs used as educational tools for PSA members and clubs. |
