There are two PID Classes; the Color Class (PIDC), and the Monochrome Class (PIDM). Each Class is a separate and distinct Star Path, and requires separate applications. For additional information or help to apply for PIDC and PIDM Star Ratings, please email the Directors.

PSA members who have received acceptances in PSA-recognized exhibitions sections for Color Projected Image Division (CPID), Electronic Imaging Division (EID), PIDC, and PIDM are eligible to apply for PID Star Ratings.

Eligibility for Stars, Galaxies, and Diamonds

The PID Star Rating Program is comprised of three types of merit award: Stars, Galaxies, and Diamonds. Applicants must be a member of PSA; however, some acceptances received prior to membership are eligible for the 1st Star acceptance requirements. Please contact the Directors for further information regarding the formats of PID merit award applications.

Returning members can pay to bridge their break in membership. Within two years of joining PSA, new members can pay to buy back up to 5 years of membership. For detailed information of the Bridge and the Buy Back programs contact the Director.
