RESULTS


ELIGIBILITY

All images by a PSA member that have received a Gold, Silver, or Bronze PSA Medal (whether in an Open or Theme section) in a PSA-recognized PID Exhibition during the previous calendar year are eligible for this free Image of the Year competition. All pictures must be submitted digitally.

All eligible entrants will receive an email invitation from the PID Image of the Year Director. This invitation will list the titles of the photos the member has that are eligible. Additionally, there will be instructions regarding how and where to enter online.

Entries for each calendar year of Exhibitions are due by July 1 of the following year and will be judged prior to the PSA Annual Conference. Images are not to be submitted prior to receiving the invitation entry form from the Director. Please check your Spam if you have received a PSA medal last year but did not get an invitation.

Competition is free of charge and does not count towards Who’s Who or PSA star ratings.

BY CLICKING THE "I ACCEPT" BUTTON, OR UPLOADING ANY IMAGE YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS DO NOT UPLOAD ANY IMAGE.

You retain your copyright in any image or other content ("Content") submitted to PSA. By uploading or delivering Content to PSA, you are granting PSA, its successors, licensees and assigns, a nonexclusive, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, unlimited, fully paid, royalty-free right to copy, prepare derivative works of, distribute, publish, transmit, and display (collectively "use") in any media now known or in the future developed, for purposes consistent with the mission of PSA and for promoting PSA, including but not limited to use on the PSA website and use within any of its social media channels. You further acknowledge that PSA has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the terms and conditions of use, privacy policies, or practices associated with any social media channel and that you shall be solely responsible for any Content that you post onto the PSA website, which PSA subsequently uploads onto any social media channel.

We will endeavor to credit you as the author of the Content in connection with any use but will not be responsible for any failure to credit or any removal or alteration of any credit.]

You acknowledge and agree that any Content posted onto the PSA website or any of its social media channels shall fully comply with PSA ethical practices or any other PSA guidelines established. PSA has the right but not the obligation to review all Content and reserves the right to reject, refuse to post, edit, modify or remove any Content uploaded by you.

You represent and warrant that you are of full age and possess any and all rights and permissions necessary to grant PSA these rights, including any necessary releases for subjects or other distinctive property depicted in the Content, and that the use of the content by PSA will not violate copyright or any other third party rights, including any right of privacy or publicity. You agree to indemnify and hold PSA, its successors, licensees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses arising out of a breach of the foregoing warranties and representations.

AWARDS

Three awards: First, Second, and Third Place. Plaques awarded in both color and monochrome section. For second and third places, Silver and Bronze medals will be given. An individual is eligible to win only one Image of the Year award.

Winning images are shown at the PSA Annual Conference, displayed on the PSA website, and presented in the PSA Journal. Awards are mailed to those who cannot attend the Conference.
