Maryland State Membership Director (SMD)
Welcome to the Photographic Society of America and the State of Maryland. If you are not already a member of PSA, we would like to have you join us https://psa-photo.org/index.php?join-or-renew-membership . As you browse through the PSA website, you will see that we have a lot to offer individual photographers at all levels of experience, and photography clubs and meet-ups. If you were a PSA member and are thinking of active membership again, there is so much more that PSA offers now

PSA currently has 7 photography clubs in Maryland. Also in Maryland, Maryland Photography Alliance encompasses fifteen photography clubs. Their goals are to promote cooperation between camera clubs and support interest in all aspects of photography.
If you are looking for a club in your area, I will be happy to provide contact information. Also, if you have questions about any aspect of PSA, please feel free to contact me. As your State Membership Director, I am always happy to talk about photography.
As a PSA member, I encourage you to consider being part of a Digital Dialogue or Study Group https://psa-photo.org/index.php?education-study-groups . Groups of photographers around the world share photos, thoughts, suggestions and appreciations. I am the Admin for Group #24 http://psadigital.org/group24/ and have members from Hong Kong, West Coast, Gulf Coast, East Coast.
You can get image evaluations, a mentor and many educational opportunities. Participate in worldwide sharing of photos through photographic recognition and PSA service https://psa-photo.org/index.php?awards/overview
I encourage PSA members in Maryland to share insights that have helped with better photography. I live at the top of the Chesapeake Bay and 8 miles from the Conowingo Dam on the Susquehanna River. Wildlife is most active before and after low tide, especially at sunset. Over 50 eagles nest year-round and are most active when the Hydroelectric Plant releases more water through small and large gates. Schedules are on the Conowingo hotline 888-457-4076.
Send me your Maryland photos to post on this page! (1024ppi on longest side – 102 dpi)
Share your tips and insights!
An important part of the PSA experience is recognizing the hundreds of volunteers that promote the Society and its programs. Directors and chairs propose those working for them for recognition awards. However, there are many who are equally as deserving but have not been identified. Please consider proposing a worthy member for PSA Honors, Society Recognition Awards and PSA Services Awards. Your Membership Director can provide you with assistance, when necessary.
