This list of volunteer opportunities is updated regularly. Members who are interested in one of the positions listed, should read about the program or activity on the webpage that is linked, read the Master Operating Manual (MOM) for the position if it is linked, and complete the Volunteer Application. The volunteer will be contacted as soon as possible.
Members who have a PSA position in need of a volunteer need to provide the information requested on the Post a PSA Volunteer Position form and the position will be posted on this page.

- 2018 CONFERENCE TEAM OPEN POSITIONS - updated Dec 15, 2017
Equipment Team Member for 2018
Volunteers needed for the Salt Lake City Conference. No technology experience required! At least 3 new volunteers needed. Audio-visual technical knowledge is a plus, but training session on equipment will be provided in Salt Lake City just before the conference starts.
Conference Program Editor for 2018
The editor of the Conference program will be responsible for the compilation of the printed Conference Program. Experience is necessary in Microsoft Word and Excel. This will consist of gathering information for the program, typing, formatting and editing. There will be a template provided from past conferences.
Honors Banquet Program Editor for 2018
The editor of the Honors Banquet program will be responsible for the compilation of the printed Honors Banquet Program. Experience is necessary in Microsoft Word and Excel. This will consist of gathering information for the program, typing, formatting and editing. There will be a template provided from past conferences.
Registration Assistants for 2018
Volunteers are needing to help work different shifts in the Registration area. This is to help members with their registration packets, questions or needs. There will be short shifts available as not to conflict with your busy schedule!
Tour Assistant Hosts for 2018
We are looking for volunteers to help make the tours in Salt Lake City extra special. This volunteer needs to be an experienced photographer who can provide educational tips. This will consist of organizing the group to load the bus, check off all participants as they load, be on the tour and provide participants with photography advice and assistance with any needs.

- PID NEWSLETTER EDITOR - posted December 14, 2017
PID Newsletter Editor requires the applicant to enjoy writing and requires knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel along with proficient writing and communication skills. Knowledge of InDesign or Publisher would be extremely helpful. This position would require a minimum of two newsletters a year of 10 pages each with articles on PID areas of interest and written by PSA members or outside experts. The position of PID Secretary requires knowledge of Microsoft word and basic Microsoft Excel along with proficient writing and communication skills. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat creating and using PFDs would be helpful. In addition, the secretary will be responsible for maintain storage for historical documents including correspondence and minutes of past years. Position to start ASAP.

- CAMERA CLUB COMMITTEE Club Service Chairman - Posted Oct 21, 2016
The PSA Club Service Chairman should be a PSA member that is familiar with PSA-member clubs and their PSA activities. They would be responsible for overview of the 14 club consultants. It is desirable for them to have knowledge of interclub competitions, Newsletter, and Website competitions. They should be able to write articles for the PSA club newsletter (the Projector) and the PSA Journal. They should have knowledge of excel or a similar program. They would work with the PSA web editor to keep club activity information current on the PSA web site. They should be able to help to bring in new activities for clubs. They should help recruit new clubs and work on club retention.
