PSA seeks to encourage the newest generations to learn and share the enjoyment of photography. In 1998, the first Outstanding Photographs from the Young Photographers exhibition was selected and shown at the PSA Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. The exhibit included 55 prints selected from 200 entries from 35 high schools in six states sponsored by eight PSA Chapters and PSA-member clubs and councils. That was the beginning and the PSA Youth Photography Showcase continues to grow. In 2012, the showcase was expanded to include all eligible students world-wide; digital images were also accepted for the first time.

Entry Deadline: April 30

The PSA Youth Photography Showcase is an annual competition for high school age students through public and private schools, 4H Clubs, Scouts, and other similar groups for this age, including home-schooled youngsters.  Youth Photography Showcase entries are accepted only through PSA Chapters and PSA-member clubs and councils.
