2013-2014 PJD QUARTERLY ROUND ONE and TWO

Round One:

The 2014 Round 1 PJ Quarterly competition was chaired by John Andrew Hughes and judged by:
John Andrew Hughes, NPPA is a photojournalist and professional member of the National Press Photographers Association and was awarded the PSA 'Early Achievement Award' in 2013. He has been published in nearly every London Newspaper and many prestigious magazines in the USA and overseas. Gary Potts, MPSA is a two year President of the Nevada Camera Club and is a prolific salon exhibitor and Tops in Who's Who. He judges for NCC and for S4C. Gary has a Galaxy Award in multiple PSA Divisions. Rick Holmes, DNCC is a Diamond Level (Highest Level 10,000 points) member of the Nevada Camera Club and is one of their finest judges. He has participated in two S4C judging's in recent years and is a sort after judge and mentor. Rick heads the 'Alternative Process' group of the NCC..

For this round a total of 74 images were submitted for the four categories, PJ General Basic, PJ General Advanced) and PJ Feature Basic and PJ Feature Advanced. For the themed category (Sequences) Basic and Advanced were combined due to a low number of Basic entries.

Round Two:

The 2014 Round 2 PJ Quarterly competition was chaired by Joe Kubala, Duluth-Superior Camera Club and judged by: Shirley White, Sarah Bissell and Trish Ditsworth, all members of the Shutterbug Camera Club in Burlington, Iowa.

For this round a total of 111 images were submitted for the four categories, PJ General Basic, PJ General Advanced) and PJ Feature Basic and PJ Feature Advanced. For the themed category (General News) Basic and Advanced were combined due to a low number of Basic entries.
